AdvMet (PTY) Ltd has designed and developed new tools to overcome issues such as galling & torsional twist and improve the fastening process on bolts & studs of sizes less than 3/4" (19mm) * without the requirement of costly hydraulic bolt tensioners.

* Size limitations are for metallic fasteners, for non-metallic fasteners these limitations do not apply
Our Experience
We have many years of bolting experience in industries ranging from nuclear, power generation, oil & gas, wind turbines, sub-sea installations, automotive manufacture, heavy industry, mining & general manufacturing ~ we understand the importance of fastening bolted joints properly.
Why the smaller bolt sizes (Metallic bolts)?
Small bolts are easier to overtighten and damage.

The bolting industry, to a large degree, focuses on specialized tooling,
procedures & best practice for working with larger fasteners.
​
For metallic fasteners greater than 3/4" (19mm), there are ample specialized tools such as bolt tensioners, hydraulic & electric torque tools etc.

For non-metallic fasteners these size limitations do not apply
